Permits & Inspections is a web-based, object-oriented system designed using Microsoft’s development architecture and relational database.
Scalability – Employs a three-tier architecture (presentation, middle, and data) to ensure a smooth growth path and easy maintainability. Each tier contains a set of clearly defined services to eliminate the need to install and maintain software on the desktop and to insulate the user interface from changes in business logic and the database.
Integration – Each function stores all of its data in a common, industry-standard relational database. This improves interdepartmental workflow, data accuracy, and reduces cost of data entry.
Configurability – Table driven design allows easy setup and maintenance of each jurisdiction’s fees, codes, and other requirements.
